Currently Obsessed: ORIBE Hair Products

From winter hair protection to beach ready waves, Oribe is my new #1 go-to hair product line.

I feel like I’m a little late for the party having just discovered these products but I thought I’d share my Oribe reviews with all of you, if you haven’t used them yet. Especially right now in the dead of winter when our locks are needing more hydration than usual. Oribe products are simply amazing for curly hair and wavy hair (which is what I normally have).

Also, if you are in love with the mermaid hair and beach waves look, these products will be your new best friend.

How is Oribe pronounced? Or-BAY

Oribe hair products are not cheap, but thanks to a fantastic sale on Zulily, I was able to snag a bunch of Oribe products for CHEAP! Like, half price of their retail cost.

I currently have four of their products:

Oribe Apres Beach Wave and Shine Spray – $39  This shine spray is a-mazing! I used it a lot during the fall to downsize big curls into waves and just give my hair a boost of shine and manage fly-aways. You can use this very sparingly, too.. a little goes a long way. You don’t want to overdo it because too much will weigh your hair down. It makes my hair super shiny and it smells fantastic.

20161215_162317Oribe Curl Gloss – $37  This was my first Oribe product. I bought it to create those barely there beach waves and it really does the trick. I put a very small amount in my palm (about a half-dime size) and work it through each lock. The key is to twist a lock of hair around your finger to shape and hold. You can air dry or use a blow dryer with diffuser. The results I got were pretty great. Mermaid hair goals met!

Oribe Gold Lust Oil – $52   I can’t live without this one. I use it all the time, after shampooing and conditioning as a leave-in, or on my dry hair to protect and shine. I simply LOVE the gold lust gloss. And, like all Oribe products, this one smells wonderful, too.

Oribe Grandiose Hair Plumping Mousse – $38  This product is a must-have if you want to add volume to your hair. I have a lot of hair, and it’s long but the follicles are considered fine, so if there is no humidity, my hair can be a little limp and lifeless. This mousse not only gives my hair lift but it also makes it feel and look thicker. After trying a lot of different volumizers, this one is definitely worth it. A little goes a long way, too.

(My next haul will include the Oribe shampoo and conditioner because from what I’ve heard, it’s the BEST.)

If you have really dry hair, I recommend TIGI Bed Head Urban Anti+dotes Resurrection Shampoo and Conditioner. That’s what I have been using for the last two years and it’s kind of been a miracle for my hair.

Have you used Oribe?  Let me hear your love story!  🙂
