10 Yoga Brands You Need to Know

10 Yoga Brands You Need to Know

Yes, there is activewear beyond Nike and Lululemon.

As stated in a previous post about the popularity of leggings over jeans, comfy athleisure, yoga pants and leggings are still the best selling garment for women and girls.  Why? Because they are so darn comfy, that’s why! 🙂  Plus, we love to feel active, even if a lot of us aren’t at first.  I think the influx of active wear has actually made a lot of us get off the couch and get moving.

Yoga is not just about looking cute, but it certainly doesn’t hurt, right??

Whether you’re dressing for yoga or Zumba class, or your everyday walk to Starbucks, here’s the 10 Yoga Brands You Need to Know about.

1. Teeki

For some, these are a favorite!  Teeki is a CA-based eco friendly and sustainable brand that make yoga pants from recycled water bottles.  Cool, right?

2. Sweaty Betty

Sweaty Betty is to UK as Lululemon is to USA.  Only, there aren’t just yoga.  And, they’re better.  They encompass all things active, from skiing to running and swimming.  They are simply one of my personal faves.

3.  Berry Jane

Berry Jane is that brand for all the cool kids. They offer bright, fun prints, cheeky tees and tanks, as well as fashion leggings for fun off the yoga mat.  Awesome news is they now offer plus sizes in yoga pants. Their leggings run in sizes XS to 3XL.  So now you can get all those cool prints in any size, for any body!

4. Cozy Orange

I have a pair of Cozy Orange yoga leggings and I just love them! The Aquarius Crop legging has been a long time best-selling item for Cozy Orange, featuring cool mesh panels on the back of each knee that works as a refreshing air vent! 😉 Overall, a wide assortment of colors, comfy basics, nice fabrics, nice fits. (I was lucky to find mine on Zulily, so I got them for an awesome price!)

5. Alo Yoga

Alo is heralded in the yoga world as some of the best yoga leggings on the market for their fits.  The Goddess leggings have made major waves in the leggings market and they are just amazing to wear anywhere you go, not just to the studio!  Many women say they are worth every cent

6. Onzie

A friend of mine recently worked with this company and had nothing but good things to say, so I had to check them out.  Turns out, she was right!  For a more sophisticated look, their black leggings assortment and lightweight tops are fabulous!

7. Spiritual Gangster

Spiritual Gangster is an LA-based company that considers itself a movement disguised as a product. They offer a nice assortment of good vibes, yoga-inspired graphic tees, pullovers, and sweats that will keep you cozy whilst spreading the love.

8. Eagle Rock Werkshop

I first spotted Eagle Rock Werkshop on Kickstarter.  They launched, funded and never looked back.  Check out their amazing prints, created by the designer and artist, Chriztina Marie.

9. Saint Grace

If you’re looking for something just a little different for loungy-yoga wear, look no further than Saint Grace. They call themselves “Classics with a twist”.  I am absolutely in love with their Ashby flared yoga pants.

10. Vimmia

Vimmia is personally one of my favorites because their quality and the high fashion element they bring to the collection. Pricey, yes. But worth it if you love athleisure. Vimmia is an especially diverse brand and keeps their collections fresh, pushing the bounds of fashion forward when designing their prints, color-blocked shapes and silky fabrics.  <3
