Harry Styles will be crashing for a week in L.A. at the 'Late Late Show'

Coming May 15th, Harry Styles will be on James Corden’s ‘Late Late Show’ for an entire week! Apparently he really loves the weather in LA. He’s lived here off and on for the past few years and is frequently spotted around town driving any one of his many classic cars, among other things.

This isn’t the first time Harry has couchsurfed at someone’s house. In the beginning of his career with One Direction, he crashed in the attic of The Late Night Show’s executive producer Ben Winston, where he would occasionally bring friends back for sleepovers. Hence, why James Corden gives him a stern motherly, “No houseguests”.

The One Direction alum’s guest appearance will begin May 15th, three days after the release of his debut solo album (which you can pre-order now). When One D split up in 2015, it caused quite a stir with fans across the world. Prior to the band’s hiatus, Zayn Malik left One D, and later stated he never really wanted to be in One Direction.

Styles was not sure what direction his music would take. “Honest,”  he told Rolling Stone magazine at tail end of 2016, “I didn’t want to write ‘stories, I wanted to write my stories, things that happened to me. The number-one thing was I wanted to be honest. I hadn’t done that before.”

“I wanted to step up. There were songs I wanted to write and record, and not just have it be ‘Here’s a demo I wrote.’ Every decision I’ve made since I was 16 was made in a democracy. I felt like it was time to make a decision about the future  …  and maybe I shouldn’t rely on others.” – Harry Styles, Rolling Stones Magazine 2016
