Pantone 2017 Color of the Year is Kermit GREEN, let's be honest.
Pantone’s color of the year for 2017 is ‘GREENERY’, and I’m having a hard time reconciling this one. I know why they chose it, and it’s a color that does give the good feels. It makes me think of Greenpeace, greener living, greener pastures.
For girls and kids fashion, it works great for Spring when it’s a pop of color or a tropical floral (which looks like it’s going to be a big trend)
As you can see, there are very few things that look good in an all-over green. Mixed in with other colors and prints, it adds a nice pop and whimsy.
I definitely wasn’t expecting a lime-y green, though. Orange, yes. Yellow, yes. But not this.
All I can see is Kermit the Frog.
