What are Good Stores for Tweens?

What are good stores for tweens in 2020? I just recently took my 10 (almost 11) year old niece clothes shopping. It was interesting to see how her style was already emerging. She knew what she liked, she just wasn’t sure how to “shop” yet. Trying on all the different shoes, sweaters and jeans really helped her get a better understanding of what she likes –and doesn’t like.

Of course, what tweens and teens like right now, will probably change a lot in 6 months. So don’t get too attached to any one particular style (or clothing store). She will most likely move into another look altogether before long.

This is an interesting time for tween girls. They are discovering their own sense of style and creating who they are. If your daughter is anything like my niece, though, she is already pretty stubborn about what clothes she wants to wear.

Taking your tween or teen on a shopping trip to let them choose is usually a good idea

I’ve found the best method for shopping for a tween is to take her to the mall with you for a day or two and observe what stores and styles she likes. But if you aren’t able to do that, here are some stores that tweens really like:
