With stores like Zappos and ShopBop jumping onto Amazon offering designer brands such as Stella McCartney, Betsey Johnson, Lilly Pulitzer, and even Chloe and Dolce & Gabbana! Amazon will soon be what the mall was to all of us once upon a time. - Nordstrom – Has excellent Girls, Tween clothing brands, and styles in a variety of styles. They have the new Maddie Ziegler collection as well!

- Brandy Melville – What girl doesn’t love Brandy Melville? It’s hip, Instagram chic and affordable. If your teen is lucky enough to have a Brandy Melville store nearby, your best bet is a gift card for her birthday. She will love you for it!
- Primark (budget)- I visited my first Primark in Ireland last month and I am now officially HOOKED! If you love forever21 or Asos, you will love Primark. I picked up a pair of iridescent shoes for $18. Yes, it’s super cheap shopping, but all of the clothes are very on-trend with quite a few being more in the vein of European trends, so it will give girls a little something more than what she will find in a typical “mall store”.
- American Eagle American Eagle continues to evolve in their styles. That’s what I admire about this brand. They have the #1 selling jeans for the last several years for fit, quality, and price. AE has definitely stayed on top of trends and tween, juniors and moms love the styles from this iconic American classic brand.
- J Crew I’ve always loved J Crew’s styles, but some Tweens may find it a little boring, and some may say it’s a little expensive (try J.Crew Factory for deep discounts!) They have incorporated a lot more fun styles into their collections over the years to include cute tees with emoji motifs and sequins. For the preppy teen, the sophisticated styles of J Crew are pretty perfect.
- Aeropostale Aéropostale gets an honorable mention as it is a premier teen clothing brand with a focused selection of high-quality, active-oriented and trending fashion at great values. They have really changed their line a lot in the last few years to stay competitive with the more fashion-forward looks for tweens and teens.
- Uniqlo (US) Girls through Juniors | Uniqlo UK Uniqlo is kind of like a GAP in many ways. A lot of nice basics and the prices can’t be beaten.
- H&M Girls 8-14 (and up) H&M continues to impress me with their growing variety of fashionable styles for kids and juniors clothes.
- MANGO I love Mango for kids. It has a fresh aesthetic mixed with a little European style that really goes a long way. I rarely get on Mango’s website without finding a few items I really love!
- Urban Outfitters Urban Outfitters is a #1 shopping destination for a lot of teens. Not only for the clothing but for the bedroom decor. Teenage girls through college-age love retro styles and vintage revivals. Generally, if something is on-trend, UO was one of the firsts to introduce it.
- ThredUP for deep discounts, designer thrift (yes, please!) and many items new with tags! Everything from J Crew and Gap to Burberry, Gucci, Mui Mui, and Michael Kors!

What are the low-end brands? J crew and gap are way over my budget.

Excuse me,but all of these are way over my budget. I come back to this website bout once every few months and u suggest the same clothes,that, TBH could only be affordable if you have a considerable amount of money to spend. Maybe you can make a list with actual places most people can afford.
Wal-mart and Target is cheap if you're looking for cheap, budget shopping. H&M, Justice and Forever 21 as mentioned above are also considered budget brands. Anything cheaper than that? I'm not sure, besides Platos Closet and Goodwill. As stated in the opening of the post:"we have our go-to shops here such as Target, Justice, Old Navy and Forever21". This blog post wasn't about cheap stores, it was about the best options for girls who want more fashion-forward items in a variety of budgets.

I like the store ivivva for my daughters it's not the cheapest but very cute it's a lot like lulu lemon but for kids and i think it might be the same owners.My daughters love shopping there she also likes justice and forever 21.And one other thing is love on a hanger it's in Cherry Hill Nj and it's really nice.Sadly a couple months ago it got burnt down but I think it's almost finished being re-built.I hope I helped you all.I know how it's sometimes hard to find go stores.My 2 daughters are 10 and I have a son that is 5 if anyone needs advice on boys clothes

I agree going to Walmart is best for less expense shopping spree. However though H&M and Forever21 seem cheaper but talking about quality, vastness of options specially for summer I choose Abercrombie.

I think this is a good selection. You have to pay a little more to keep your girls from wearing nylon/spandex lace dyed the color of a nuked, rotten mango - or from looking like a prostitute!

Having a problem finding youthful clothing for my granddaughter. She is 9 but difficulty with children’s sizes because of her height. She is 5’ 2” and slim. Any suggestions?
Try Justice, especially their online store. They have slim pants online that are not available in the stores, but you can still return them to stores. I look for stores that have "slims". For a 9 year old, you might be able to try Children's Place (online will have more options that at the store) and possibly Lands End. My daughter is now 12 and average to short in height. So she needs a size 12 in length, but more like a size 8 for the waist! So shopping for pants, shorts, swimsuits for her are a nightmare. And for me, I have the opposite problem where I'm tall enough that regular pants are too short and long sleeve shirts are also too short in the sleeves, but then the tall women's clothing is too long with inseams where I could pull the pants up to my arm pits practically.

Their sale racks if you have budget constraints have amazing bargains and they will send you pictures if you contact them. They have become my two daughters favorite clothing and it makes me happy to support a company that makes all their clothes in the USA.
