Tips and Tricks for Finding the Best Deals

First things first, your experience here depends on how early you get in because the good stuff goes quick. My friend and I agree it isn’t really worth going unless you’re one of the first groups; otherwise you’ll dig through the same item BM overstocked on and couldn’t sell (one time it was their high waisted jeans, another those crops that tie in a bow in the back). But the experience can be fun if you’re not impatient.

PREPARATION: To do that, you’re looking at 3 AM arrival time, so be prepared for the cold! A fluffy blanket or even an air mattress you can stow in your car is ideal, otherwise, you’re stuck sleeping on concrete. Warm clothes/layers (tight tank and leggings underneath so you can try stuff easily; no fitting rooms will be there), coffee for the morning, snacks, and a light bag with plenty of cash are needed! Fair warning though, it’s in a warehouse heavy area where there are no bathrooms (except the porta potties but they’re gated in until the warehouse opening). The nearest one is this restaurant but only accessible by car.

SALE LOGISTICS: They open doors an hour early then hand out trash bags. The small warehouse has lines of boxes you peruse and you really just have to sift and stow anything decent you find. Having a friend who knows your taste is ideal as you can both grab stuff for each other. Recommend 20 min searching, 10 sorting through what you want together. They’re strict on time limits!

ITEMS/EXPERIENCE: It’s crazy, messy, and clothes are flying everywhere but there is no outright shoving/clothes snatching. But if you discard something, it’s fair game! You’ll see things from halters to soft tees to Jada’s to sweaters to bralettes to some jackets to skirts to graphic shirts to weird off-brand clothing (and more) but you need to dig. Anything that is in season there is only a handful of (I scored a Hailee jacket and saw one Caroline cardigan but it had a major hole in it) but overall stock varies. Tees are $5, dresses/bottoms $10, and jackets/sweaters $15. Make sure to inspect every item for rips/tears!

MY FINDS: I was able to get a dark grey striped t-shirt dress, cream cropped sweater, green Hailee jacket, printed Jada, grey halter, navy V-neck, and white high neck crop for around $80! A lot of pieces have original price tags and when we totaled them, it would have been well over $200. So you definitely score major deals (and let’s face it, Brandy prices aren’t worth it 99% of the time; especially when all these 13 y/o are wearing the same stuff)
