A new dress doesn’t mean you have to spend a fortune. I’ve always felt like the best teenage party dresses are the ones that are versatile, and wearable more than once. (Or, resellable. Where to Find Cheap Teenage Party Dresses

There are also a few great resources online, my favorite being ThredUP for designer “thrift”. In many cases, a lot of the special occasion dresses listed here have only been worn once. You can find an awesome designer dress, new with tags for as low as $50 (Seriously, I’m obsessed with this website). Not to mention, once you wear it, you can decide to sell it on Poshmark. A name brand that people love is a lot easier to sell.

Don’t knock your local Goodwill store, either. You’d be really surprised what you might find there in the special occasion dress section. Many times, a party dress is worn only once and then it sits in the back of the closet for a while before the owner realizes it’s not easy to sell on Facebook marketplace unless it’s a designer style or one from David’s Bridal that is being searched for specifically. This is why I always recommend either spending a little more on a designer brand or much less on a fashion dress that you know you’ll only wear once.
